💖Queering the Chinese Diaspora

In collaboration with MIX CPH and Beijing Queer Film Festival @beijingqueer and curator Jenny @jennymanwu we are bringing five bold shorts from Chinese diaspora filmmakers, exploring queer migration, identity and imagination.

This curation by Jenny Man Wu @jennymanwu (filmmaker, curator, cultural practitioner) looks at the intersection of being queer and being part of the Chinese diaspora, with the intention to foreground voices that dwell in liminal spaces–neither fully here nor there–and to reflect on how queer diasporic experiences can open up new ways of belonging, resisting, and becoming.

English and Mandarin subtitles available, with an online Q&A Session with series curator Jenny Man Wu @jennymanwu from Beijing Queer Film Festival
